new creations

I'm having so much fun creating these pendants from porcelain and antique buttons. Those Victorians sure loved their pretty buttons. Each one is a little work of art. I set them into these pretty glazed porcelain pieces that I make from casts of 1940's bakelite buttons. Buttons on buttons. What do you think?

Yes, the Victorian aesthetic is fascinating, the design influences were so diverse, from chinese porcelain to egyptian tomb decoration to bizarre botanicals...
