New Moon in Capricorn, January 2010
If you've been following the astrological weather at all, you'll know that we're going through some intense and interesting planetary stuff right now! This new Moon marks the second eclipse of the month, an annular solar eclipse, which together with the lunar eclipse 14 days ago on the full moon, forms the bookend to the powerful and transformative time we've just been through. These are biggies! This New Moon Eclipse will bring opportunities to rebuild from the foundations. January is often a time when we re-assess and strive to change ingrained patterns - this year the planets are really supporting us in this endeavor! I encourage you to do some googling around on astrology sites and read about the importance of these eclipses.

What I want to focus on here, as usual, is setting positive intention for the coming month. Did you set intentions for the New Year? Is there one thing you can focus on this moon, something that will bring a greater sense of well being & secure foundations to your life? If an eclipse represents a time of transformation, moving through a doorway, what doorway is waiting for you to walk through? As always, you are welcome to share your New Moon thoughts and intentions here.

I am intent on calling all the lost pieces of my artistic soul home, so I can be fully my creative self in all my senses.

Sorry I'm late to the party but my intent for this new moon (in capricorn) is to well piggy back on Madame One Tree as well as allow my fully formed self to blossom without fear.

Thanks for sharing these beautiful intentions, J and Madame - both so poetically stated. May your intentions strengthen with the waxing moon!
