Have I told you about this project? The launch exhibit is coming up soon, so I've been immersed in it lately.
From May 2012 to May 2013, I have committed to creating 108 images of the Buddha, primarily ceramic sculpture.
Half of these sculptures have a special destiny. They'll be carried, by people like you, out into the world, and left in the places where you feel a reminder of buddha nature would be most welcome or most needed. The story of these pieces will be documented on the project blog at 108buddhasproject.com. You can learn more about the project there too.
And if you happen to be on my little island on August 9, consider yourself personally invited to the opening of the exhibit, 7pm at the Arts Centre.
