About a quarter acre of our four acres is taken over by a bramble of wild roses.
I love them, their wildness and perfection. Their fragrance permeates the air all around us for a few glorious weeks in June. This morning I had work to do here in my office, but Chloe and I found ourselves swooning in the meadow, reluctant to go inside, content to just stay and look and smell and listen to the birds and bees.
