This was an old book I found at the Free Store, a ponderous tome called Foundations of the Nineteenth Century, translated from the German. I think it's much better in it's new incarnation. The gold hand had been sitting around the studio for a long time, waiting for just the right project. The religious medals were saved from trips to Italy and Mexico.
